Helene's Story
Life
I never did leave Tacoma. I was fortunate enough to get a job with the City of Tacoma back in '78, got married that year too. In '80 I had a beautiful daughter who still lives here as well. She got married 1-1/2 yrs. ago ... no grandkids yet (not that I'm in a hurry).
I'm still with the City as a Construction Inspector (who would have ever thought) and retirement is closing in. I sure don't feel like that many years could have gone by but the...Expand for more
mirror says different. A couple of our classmates work in the same building as me. (Jon Kendall and Dan Rome). Those boys now have 'pot bellys'! But I love em anyway.
I got divorced and met the love of my life. We've been together 23 years - never got married .... I think that's the secret of our success. We have a motorhome and do a lot of camping. I love plants and animals and do my share of reading.
